Thoughts become days. Days become a life.

Notes on Paper began with a simple idea: that the smallest moments often leave the deepest marks.
Here you’ll find hand-drawn illustrations, quiet stories, and little reminders to slow down.
Emma, woodland friends, and simple everyday moments come together to create a world where there is no rush,
only presence.
Every illustration starts with a pencil, a blank surface, and a quiet moment.
I hope these little notes bring a bit of calm into your day.

Welcome.

From the Journal

Thoughts, quiet observations and stories inspired by everyday moments.

  • Behind the Lens
Life happened. School, work, and daily routines pushed creative passions into the background, making them feel like a luxury rather than a necessity. But the longing to recapture the magic I once felt—both in photography and storytelling—kept pushing me forward.
  • I Never Learned How to Draw
I learned that art, and creating, is not about producing something perfect. Creativity is a mirror. A mirror through which we get a glimpse of what is inside us. And I learned that this mirror can be shown to others. But from that moment on, it is no longer only our mirror.
  • When Photography Meets Illustration
Perhaps that is what childhood gave us so naturally: the ability to believe that every flower could become a tiny world, every forest a place full of stories, and every ordinary moment the beginning of something magical.
